MASSAGE TERAPY IS DEFINED AS THE MANIPULATION of soft body tissue, tendons and ligaments to improve a person’s health.

I am certified in many techniques and modalities of massage.

Massage sessions are charged by time with exception of specialty services.

I provide basic relaxation massages. My massage technique is slow, long stroke manipulation with firm pressure in order to slow down the heart rate and relax the nervous system.

The other massage technique and modalities I provide are the following

Contraindications for massage therapy

Local contraindications are burns, frost bite, open wounds and acute deep vein thrombosis

General contraindications are infectious diseases, contagious diseases, terminal illness or under medical supervision.

Pregnant women should always get approval from their doctors before massage. I do not preform hot stone massage on pregnant women.

Skin Care

The skin is the largest organ on the body, it important to care for it thoroughly with consistence. Regular facials are important especially with problem and sensitive skin.

Although facials can be very relaxing and soothing procedures I strive to help improve the health and appearance of the skin.

A skin assessment and care regime is given at every session.

Basic Facial

Cleanse the face and neck, exfoliate the area, steam face to open pores for extractions, preform extractions, cleanse again, moisturize, hydrate and massage.

Deep cleanse facial

Cleanse the face and neck, light exfoliate the area, steam face to open pores for extractions. Perform extractions, microdermabrasion, cleanse, appropriate mask, serums applied, skin hydrated, massage manipulation moisturize and sunscreen applied

Microdermabrasion: This non-invasive procedure that gently exfoliates the skin to diminish signs of aging. Microdermabrasion brightens dull skin, evens up skin tones and smooths skin texture. It also lightens and or eliminates age spots and remove dark spots caused by acne.

During an ultrasonic facial, high level sound wave technology is used to penetrate deep below the surface of the skin promoting cellular renewal and repair, toning muscles, increasing blood circulation, encouraging lymphatic drainage, combating puffiness and swelling and improving skin care product penetration.

Body Buffing Treatment

My skin buffing service eliminates dead, dull skin and gives skin moisturized, smooth, glowing skin.

Great for special events , fitness competitions or bodypainting.
